MCDB Graduate Student Handbook

Students may be disqualified from the Ph.D. program by action of the Graduate Program Committee for failure to maintain an adequate level of performance in coursework (3.0 GPA), in qualifying examinations, or in research progress (on the recommendation of the thesis advisor). Appeal of disqualification may be made to the Department Chair.
